At the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media I took MEJO 182, Foundations of Graphic Design. In this class I used the Adobe Creative Cloud, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.

Web Design

At the UNC-Chapel Hill Hussman School of Journalism and Media I took MEJO 187, Foundations of Interactive Media. In this class I used Figma, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Adobe Illustrator.

Social Media

I have created a variety of social media posts for different athletic teams. I created content for Instagram, X and TikTok. I utilized Canva and the Adobe Creative Cloud to create these posts.

About:

My name is Presley Johnson! I am a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am double majoring in media and journalism at the Hussman School of Journalism and Media and information science at the School of Information and Library Science.

My biggest passion is traveling. This is inspired from my American, Canadian and Portuguese roots. I don't have any family in the United States, all of my family lives in Canada and Portugal. A majority of my family resides in Nazaré, Portugal. Nazaré is a small fishing town that was recently put on the map for the world-record-breaking waves surfed on the North Shore.

I have played soccer my whole life, since the age of 3. I currently serve as the Vice President for the UNC Club Soccer team.

I am passionate about the intersection of design and technology. I would like to explore a career in UX/UI design, web design, front-end development or graphic design.
